Republican Presidential contender Ben Carson visited refugees from Syria in Jordan on Saturday, but said that the United States should not accept them and bring them to the country. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson met with Syrian refugees at the Zaatari camp in order to boost his failing support regarding his foreign policy stances, after comments he made about the refugees being “rabid dogs”. He visited the refugees and also talked to humanitarian workers, government officials and medical personnel. He did not meet with journalists, but his campaign posted photographs on his campaign website with him meeting the refugees. The first day of the Paris climate change talks on the 30th of November will be marked by the meeting of China’s and India’s leaders with President Obama where they are expected to raise the momentum of the climate negotiations. A day after a debate in Philadelphia among Democratic candidates for President, Hillary Clinton won the endorsement of the ironworkers’ union on Monday, furthering her lead in the Democratic race for a Presidential nomination in the 2016 Elections. The Obama administration appealed to the Supreme Court on Friday to rescue President Barack Obama’s executive order on immigration that would save millions of illegal immigrants in the United States. The appeal is issued exactly a year after Obama announced the executive action on immigration and will put his administration in a dispute with 26 mainly Republican led states.
